Free College Tuition
The Say Yes provides free tuition to Guilford County School (GCS) graduates to any in-state public college or university, as long as the student has spent at least a few years in the GCS system.
Say Yes commits to meet 100 percent of the public, in-state college cost not already covered by federal or state aid. Private schools are treated differently - across the nation, 100 private colleges and universities in 22 states have agreed to provide free tuition as long as the household income is below $75,000.
North Carolina private schools include Duke University, Wake Forest University, Davidson College and High Point University.
